Otago Girls’ High Students Invited to Participate in National Insect Biodiversity DNA Drive
Otago Girls’ High School has been invited to participate in the DNA Drive. This project aims to explore insect biodiversity in Aotearoa-New Zealand by swabbing for DNA traces left by insects that hit car license plates.
The project aims to collect 6,000 samples nationwide.
If you would like to be part of this project, please see Mrs Beaman or Mrs Millar to arrange the pick up of a kit to start collecting over the summer. The collection needs to be completed by March 2026.
