Junior Have a go Week

A group of Year 9 and Year 10 students signed up for Junior Have a go week, in which they took part in activities throughout the week which included dodgeball, 3x3 basketball, E-sports, rippa rugby, disc golf, Ki o Rahi and pool. All students thoroughly enjoyed themselves throughout the week and for some it was the challenge of a new sport. The objective of the week was to go out of their comfort zones and try a new sport, enjoyment, and participation.

Volleyball

Our Year 9A and Year 10A Volleyball teams will be taking part in the SISS Junior Volleyball tournament being held at the Edgar Centre from Tuesday 21st-Thursday 23rd November. There are 32 boys and 46 girl’s teams participating from all around the South Island and four teams from Australia. Six OGHS teams will also be taking part in the Beach Volleyball tournament.

Uniform Amnesty

There are still a few OGHS Sports Uniforms and OGHS tracksuits outstanding. Could these all be handed in to Ms Hokianga as soon as possible.
