Otago Girls' High School Students have been making Elephants to support the 4KT Elephant project.

The aim of this project is to make 4000 Elephants to represent the 4K Tonne on Clothing Waste which goes into the Green Island Landfill each year. Rosie Maley, Kate Buchan and Birkita Ritchie Year 9 spent Friday afternoon at the Stitch Kitchen pop up shop in George St to assist with the project. They are pictured at work and with their project.
