At the weekend Immy Morey in Year 10 was nominated to represent the Dunedin Tap Dancing Society and Otago at the National Young Performer of the Year Awards to be held in 2022 in Palmerston North. She (along with one other competitor) are the first in New Zealand to qualify for this 'Mega Plus' event after the 2021 competition was cancelled last month.

Immy has been tap dancing since she is 6 and this competition brings together the very best 15+ aged performers from all around New Zealand in all different art forms.
