During their weekly i -Time session all Year 9 and Year 10 core classes are getting involved with a community action project. Each class has to choose, design, research, take part in and reflect on a community action project. This is the students’ project – their chance to impact their world.
The aims of this project are:
To be actively involved in our communities
To contribute as group members
To make connections with others
To create opportunities for others
To contribute to the quality and sustainability of social, cultural,
physical and economic environments.
We are excited to see what initiatives the girls come up with. Updates on how the classes are progressing through this project will be given each week in the newsletter.
