Leaver's Assembly a Moving Tradition
This week, our school community gathered for the Final Leavers Assembly, a deeply cherished and moving tradition where we officially bid farewell to our graduating Year 13 students.
The assembly was a torrent of emotion, a wonderful celebration of their journey.
In a poignant moment steeped in tradition, our Year 13s made their final exit. They walked out through the very main front doors that they first entered as fresh-faced Year 9 students. This symbolic act, which we uphold every year, marks the true closing of their chapter with us.
The atmosphere was electric with pride and feeling as the entire school stood together to perform a powerful haka in their honour. This incredible display of respect and unity was a truly moving farewell that brought many to tears.
A big thank you to our talented Media Lab Film Club for capturing this unforgettable moment. The official recording of the haka and farewell is attached.
