On Tuesday night we held our Annual Open Night. This was in a modified format from previous years in response to the Covid-19 world in which we are currently living. Overall we were very pleased with the turnout and the way things ran and I would like to acknowledge the hard work of all the students and staff who made this happen. Thank you also to all the parents who fetched and carried students on the day. We are currently collecting feedback on the event so would love to hear from any of you who attended, or have heard from others who did. As always we are interested in what we did well, what we could do better and any interesting ideas or observations that occurred to people. Please email me or the office if you would like to contribute.

A reminder too that if you are aware of any family who was unable to attend the Open Night but would like to visit the school they should book a time at the school office. Following on from the Open Night please ensure that any enrolment applications get to us by 4pm on Thursday 13 August.

As we are in the throes of winter, and especially given the current situation, it is important that you keep your daughter home if she is unwell. We have had a number of students coming to school suffering from colds and flus and this puts others at risk of catching these illnesses. Students can continue to work from home while sick by checking on Google Classroom and/or checking in with their teacher.

Next week we are holding online parent/teacher interviews for students in Years 11, 12 and 13. Please book via the link contained in this newsletter if you would like to speak with any of your daughter’s teachers about their progress. Senior reports are currently being written and will come out in Week 5 prior to the Students Learning Conferences which are on Thursday 20 August.
