Year 13 PE Snow Farm camp
Last week, Year 13 PE visited the snow farm. We got to spend a lot of time snowshoeing, which was a new experience for most of us. This involved long walks in the snow. We had to cook and make our breakfast, lunch and dinners as well as complete various tasks around our hut. A highlight for us was the first night when we went on a night walk. On this night it was completely dark and we got to see the night sky and try snowshoeing for the first time which was a unique experience. Another highlight was when we were leaving the hut and it started to snow. It was really cool to experience the snowfall for the first time in years for lots of us. Although we didn't end up skiing because of the lack of snow, we learnt a lot about perseverance, resilience and we formed lots of strong connections.
