The countdown has begun to Library Day 2025!

This is a fun whole school event with prizes for group and individual costumes, guest speakers and a special assembly.

Books are kindly donated by whanau classes, departments and school groups to fill our Library Shelves. This year will be the 88th consecutive OGHS Library Day.

The theme this year is 'From Page to Screen', focusing on how written texts are transformed into film and television.

Our guest speakers are Sophie Black (OGHS 2004) and Pepe De Hoyos, Award-winning NZ Filmmakers.

Students and staff alike are encouraged to dress up- lots of fun to be had by all!

Library Day will be held next Tuesday the 17th of June- see you there!
