The Ministry of Education sponsored 'Getting into Games Programme' was delivered by the Digital Natives Academy, and ākonga at Otago Girls' were given the option to join in. The week was streamed on Twitch and covered many aspects of game design and character design as well as esports broadcasting and Dungeons and Dragons as a route to game development.

The ākonga had a fantastic time being introduced to the multimillion dollar industry and career pathways into the digital world. We look forward to our rangatahi developing as we look to fully embed the digital curriculum into their learning.
