The Wizard of Otago
If you had been passing by the hall during the last couple of weeks of term you would have heard a lot of mirth as well as the strain of bagpipes and some authentic and not so authentic Scottish accents. The junior school entertained us all with Ms Dick's play, "The Wizard of Otago".
The script poked fun at our northern most city and the perspectives some people have about living down south. With cameo appearances from icons like The Spice Girls and Donald Trump, the cast celebrated all the wonderful things that make Dunedin a fantastic place to live. The production was full of amazing talent in the form of incredible dancers and athletes, some superb acting and a guest star in the form of Mr Trickey. The Junior Production Club put on several performances including a matinee performance to Balmacewen Intermediate. It was a wonderful way to end the term. Thank you to all the staff involved and to the students who brightened up our final week of term. Have a great holiday!
