Unsung Hero's

Ms R Joyce, TIC School Council —

Congratulations to this year's School Council Unsung Heroes. These students were nominated by their peers and the School Council selected one nomination per year group. These students were awarded with the Unsung Hero badge and one of the new school scarves that were designed by the School Council.

Matilda Hall

Year 9: Matilda Hall
Matilda is a kind and caring person and member of the school. She's also a natural leader and her reliability and responsible nature means that you can be sure that she will see something through. Matilda goes that extra step to help out her friends and classmates with questions or problems if they're stuck - a lot of which goes unnoticed.

Francis Donald

Year 10: Francis Donald
Commitment to Tomahawk Lagoon team - even when everyone else was sick or couldn't make it, Francis still attended and did her bit to contribute to the understanding of the Lagoon's biodiversity in order to improve the ecosystem for future generations.

Katherine McArthur

Year 11: Katherine McArthur
Katherine has been an amazing director of the film club movie project, and has been great at directing the team, making decisions about shots and putting in lots of extra hours on top of playing in Jazz band, and keeping up with her school work.

Jomana Moharram

Year 12: Jomana Moharram
Juju puts in a lot of effort to help with lots of extra school activities and is a role model to the junior students. She is always there when you need help with anything and gives the best assembly speeches.

Glory Tioa

Year 13: Glory Tioa
She is such a hardworking girl and has been sewing the uniforms for most of the boys and girls for Polyfest, having to balance that with school/exams coming up. She was instrumental in Benjamin performing a fabulous House Haka earlier in the year and she organised the Benjamin house chant for sports day recently. Glory is a wonderful role model and we have noticed a significant improvement in house enthusiasm due to Glory's contribution.
