Yesterday afternoon we rounded up our interpersonal skills unit in physical education by participating in the Year 9 Ki o Rahi tournament. It was a super fun and enjoyable experience. There were 2 grades: social and competitive; even if you didn't enjoy being competitive you could still get involved. 12 Teams competed, and there were always two games being played. The competition was fierce but in the end, the Harry Hard Outs (9Mv) won in the competitive grade and the social it was very close but the Melkoms (9Hr) took it out. It was an exciting afternoon that was a good chance to use our interpersonal skills and apply our knowledge about the traditional Māori game of Ki o Rahi.
