Go Bus wishes to advise that as from the end of Term 4, 2017, it will be discontinuing a number of school bus routes in Dunedin.

The reason for this change is that the new public bus network, controlled by the Otago Regional Council, will  largely duplicate the school bus services we operate. It therefore makes little sense for Go Bus to operate school buses alongside publicly funded services.

How these cancellations affect your school is as follows:

• Waverley to Otago Girls' and Otago Boys' discontinued. ( Larnach Road/Waverly School Run AM no PM service)

We are putting posters in the buses advising of the changes and we recommend affected students wishing to travel to school from Term 4 onwards refer to the Otago Regional Council’s bus page on their website at www.orc.govt.nz for new travel options.
