Congratulations to the following students. 

Lucy Matehaere was selected to take part in the Asia-Pacific German Olympics from 12 -22 August as one of seven New Zealand students. This is a competition which invites students from 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region to participate for a week in a series of German language events in Thailand with other German-speaking/learning students from the various countries. Mr Durrant, German teacher and HOD Languages was also selected to be the accompanying teacher from New Zealand for this group.

Lucy Pollock and Anna Dawes were both selected to travel to Wellington in August for the second round of interviews and activities to compete in a group of 15 students nationwide for a number of all expenses paid multi-week scholarships to Germany next year. We wish them good luck in Wellington.
