Ms C Hokianga, Sports Coordinator —

Just a few things to remember when turning up and representing Otago Girls’ High School at sporting events. Please remember to remove all jewellery and to wear your sport uniform with pride. You are all amazing and we are seeing amazing results from all our sport teams. Guideline policies can be found in our sports policy booklet which is online on the Sports page.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteer coaches and managers and the OGHS TIC’s of Sport, without you sports at OGHS would not be as successful as it is.

Thank you for the valued support that we receive from the Bendigo Valley Sports and Charity Foundation, their financial assistance enables our teams to travel to tournaments all around New Zealand and is greatly appreciated by our Sports Teams.

Annual Triangular Tournament

We are excited to announce that we will be holding our Triangular Tournament this year on Friday 12 August 2022. Senior teams from OGHS will be competing against Southland Girls' High School and Waitaki Girls' High School. This event is held at Otago Girls’ and venues around Dunedin.

WEDNESDAY MORNING FUN, FOOD AND FITNESS – This has now started for Term 3 but we have not been having a great response. It would be awesome for you to come along to support the students from the Sports Institute as well as working on your “fun, food and fitness”. Wednesday mornings 7am-8am.

OGHS Sports Page

We have developed a new sports page, and this can be found on your landing page on your laptops. This is where you can find out information about your sport, registration forms and weekly draws. The icon that you will be looking for is this:
