The Year 9 students will be involved in Junior Activity Week from Monday 29 November to Friday 3 December. This week is mufti dress for all Year 9’s preferably active wear or if their teams have decided to have a dress up theme that would be great. From Monday to Thursday all the events are taking place out of school. Friday’s activities are at OGHS. Instructions about what is on each day and where to meet and where students will be released from at the end of each day have been emailed out to parents/caregivers and students.

We have been very fortunate to gain Tu Manawa funding through Sport Otago to run the week’s events. This means there is no cost involved for students. 

Please make sure students turn up at the venues on time,  with a full water bottle, a large number of snacks and a huge healthy lunch.

Monday -  meet at OGHS at start of school day. At the end of the day students will be dismissed from their final venue listed below.

9Rs and 9Lfs – Ten Pin Bowling Centre, Kaikorai Valley Road.

9Gr and 9MCg – Westpac Bowls Centre, Victoria Road, St Kilda.

9Cl and 9Tay – Mega Zone – 170 Frederick Street.

Tuesday - meet at Metro Indoor Sports Centre – 93 Crawford Street. At the end of the day students will be dismissed from Metro Indoor Sports Centre.

Wednesday & Thursday - meet at the Edgar Centre – 116 Portsmouth Drive. All students will be dismissed from Edgar Centre at the end of the school day.

Friday meet at the OGHS VPA suite at the start of the school day - All students dismissed from OGHS at the end of the school day.
