Meg Allison

Hello everyone! I’m Meg Allison, and I’m beyond excited to be the Deputy Head Prefect for 2025! It’s an absolute honour to have received this role, and I feel incredibly privileged to work alongside one of my best friends, Jessie. I couldn’t be more thrilled to start Year 13 and experience all the exciting things this year has in store for our year group. Be sure to stay tuned as our prefect team has plenty of fun ideas planned for the year ahead!

To get to know me better, here are a couple fun facts about me. If you know me, you already know that my absolute favourite singer is Taylor Swift. I know every single one of her songs and I was even lucky enough to see Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation Tour’ and ‘The Eras Tour’. I have two sisters, Laura and Libby and I’m the middle child. In correlation to Taylor Swift and music, I absolutely love singing and playing the guitar and have competed in many competitions, such as Golden Guitars and Rockquest.

There are many things I am looking forward to in 2025. One of these is the OGHS OBHS production of Grease, and I am super excited to play Sandy! I am also so pumped to once again compete in Rockquest with my amazing band, Landline. Luckily, last year, our band placed third in the region, and we can't wait to perform again!!

This year, I really hope to make a difference in the school and become a friendly face to all my peers. If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to ask me—I am always happy to help!
