BizVenture China 2023 was an awesome opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to expand their knowledge of business, international trade with China and build leadership and team bonding skills. We had the chance to visit various successful businesses and workshops like: Lilo Desserts, NZTE, Confucius Institute Chinese Language Workshop), China 101 Workshop, SDG Workshop, Alpha Group, Grin Natural, Calligraphy Workshop, Fisher & Paykel, Temple visit, ZURU and Martial Arts.

All teams faced a business challenge that involved devising a market entry strategy for China for a fictitious business based in New Zealand. After pitching our idea to a panel of judges, our team (Team 1 - BioSeal) emerged as the winners, gaining a $250 travel voucher each.

I thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, especially Chinese hotpot night. The laughter, yarn, confusion, and absolute chaos brought us all closer together.

Overall, this was an extraordinary experience to learn, network, build relationships and ever-lasting friendships.
