Recently Caitlin attended a weekend to gain selection for the St John Youth South Island Regional squad to compete at National Competitions in April 2018.

Caitlin was successful in gaining a place in the 24 person squad from approximately the 50 odd who attended these selections. This is a major achievement for Caitlin as she now goes on to train for seven weekends at different locations around the South Island.

During the April 2018 school holidays Caitlin will attend the St John Youth National Youth festival  and compete at the national competitions against teams from Northern  and Central regions. These competitions will test Caitlin and her fellow squad members' first aid, drill, caregivers and communication along with leadership and teamwork.

Caitlin's passion lies with St John Youth and her determination and hard work has paid off to acheive a goal which she has had her eyes set on for a while now.
