The Learning Place

The Learning Place has been delivering face to face courses to schools across New Zealand for over ten years. We deliver a range of courses targeted at Gateway students and STAR funded students. We have developed more online courses for Year 12 and 13 students. They are largely theory units that are part of an existing course we offer.

All courses are stringently pre moderated and are designed to be engaging, educational and fun to do. Each course has a series of lessons with assessment at the end. It is expected that students will spend six to eight hours working on each standard.

Students will gain credits once successfully completing assessments

Mrs Hill has sent an email to all Year 12 and 13 students with Star Funding applications.
