Parent Workshop - Raising Body Confident Kids with Emma Wright

Mrs S Porter, Deputy Principal Wellbeing —

SUNDAY JUNE 11, 4-6pm

Given the rise in eating disorders in kids and the number of parents who have a difficult relationship with food and their body that they don't want to pass to their kids, Emma's parent talk is a timely community event. The Raising Body Confident Kids parent talk is as practical as it is enlightening.

You will leave understanding exactly why so many of us struggle with body confidence, plus the steps you can take to build a fence at the top of the body image cliff in your home for your kids.

Emma's BIG talk will make you laugh and maybe even cry as she walks you through the 10 principles of raising body-confident kids. Many parents say, Emma's talk can quite literally change your kid's life and your own.

Having run these talks in schools and communities across Aotearoa NZ, Emma's model is engaging and empowering. Emma’s previous talks in Dunedin were SOLD OUT so be sure not to miss out.
