During Term One, Drama students in Year Twelve and Thirteen will be spending iTime attending performance combat arts training.

These sessions, run by Jeasy Sehgal from The Imperial School of Swordsmanship, will develop students’ skills at choreographed fight sequences for theatre and film. They will learn a variety of skills and procedures during these sessions including unarmed and medieval sword work, working effectively as a fight partner, using acting principles, and knowing how to maintain safe practices when attempting these fighting sequences in rehearsal and performance.

The first of these sessions began on Wednesday and was a great opportunity for hands-on learning that opens up career pathways.
