As we have previously shared RASA School of Dance's ALLIES Dance Crew, which includes our current student Emily Aubin, ex-student Maya Satake, and is coached by our very own Ms. Veenvliet, has qualified to represent New Zealand at the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, this July 2025.

This event, sometimes referred to as "The Olympics of Hip Hop," sees over 4000 dancers from more than 55 countries competing. Being the only South Island team to qualify is a significant honour for the ALLIES crew, and they are committed to representing our region and country with pride.

While this is a wonderful achievement for a Dunedin dance school to represent on such a stage, the journey comes with considerable expense. The team is holding a final fundraising event to help cover the costs.
