The Senior A, B and C volleyball teams all had another weekend full of volleyball last week - this time the Otago Championships at the Edgar Centre.

The Senior A’s were once again successful, not dropping a single set the whole tournament and becoming the Otago Champions for the 3rd year running after beating Taieri 3-0 in the final. The Senior B’s, following on from Christchurch, continued to fight hard all weekend, their determination not failing them as they bet Bayfield 3-2 in the bronze medal match, taking out 3rd place. The Senior C’s also kept their determination levels at an all time high this weekend giving every team a fight for their money in every game they played. In the end the girls came out 9th, beating Logan Park 3-0 in their play off game. All the girls who competed this weekend should be proud of themselves as they played hard and represented the school with huge honours. Once again we’d like to thank Mr Murley, Ms Hokianga, Mrs Mackay and Mr Pickard who were there with us all weekend and to all the supporters who came out to cheer us on.
