OGHS was well represented in all categories at this year's speech contest.  The students worked hard to prepare speeches in Japanese, and then responded in Japanese to questions from the three judges. Feedback from the judges was that they were impressed with the quality of the speeches and the courage the students showed in stepping up to speak, as well as answering impromptu questions from the judges. There was fierce competition from James Hargest, who had travelled up from Invercargill.
