On Wednesday 28 August 42 students set off to Oamaru to compete against Waitaki Girls' High School in the annual Junior Winter Exchange.

Sports taking part were Year 9A and Year 10A Netball, Junior A Basketball and 17 Year 9 and Year 10 Badminton players. The weather was on our side and we were treated to a glorious day in Oamaru. Congratulations to all of the students who very proudly represented OGHS. The day ended in a draw. Thank you to Steven Robinson, junior A Basketball coach, Maddy Dixon Year 9A Netball coach and Pauline Easson Year 10A Netball manager who assisted me throughout the day.
