Last Thursday (22nd November) the junior waterpolo girls set off for Christchurch to complete in the South Island Junior School Championships.

The girls did their feisty best there and showed everyone what a force they are, and will continue to be over their senior water polo career. They should be very proud of the massive effort they made, and their results. We came 5th out of 8, but in a couple of tough games we had only one or no subs, so we did exceedingly well. We also tied with Christchurch Girls', who came third overall. A bit of bonding with other teams was also part of the fun - Marlborough Girls also had a Meg, Charlotte and Molly so side pool encouragement worked for both teams together!
