Night Market School Fundraiser

We are very excited to be holding the very first OGHS Night Market on the 27th of October 5-8pm. Proceeds to school grounds, seating, shade and landscaping projects

We need your help!

1. We need around 12-15 FOOD STALLS and are looking for families to volunteer to make and sell food! In particular we would be keen for people to make and sell the following:

• Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Syrian or other international foods.

• BBQ sausages, hot dogs, chips or similar

• Sweet food including candyfloss, specialty sweets or icecream sundaes

• Real Coffee and hot drinks

• Open to any suggestion!

Food ingredients can be subsidised if required. All food will be sold for $5 per plate - paper bowls and bamboo forks/ spoons and napkins provided. The aim would be to have 1-2 options of food selling at your stall and to cater for around 60 plates in total. Families or groups are welcome to combine resources and run a stall together.

2. We need prizes for TOMBOLA and CHOCOLATE WHEEL. Think about the following:

• Vouchers for local experiences and activities

• Donations from your own or associated businesses

• Vouchers for restaurants and coffees

• Gourmet or designer food items

• Yoga or Beauty Treatments

• Tee shirts, Water bottles, Coffee Mugs

• Tote Bags, Designer Teatowels, Reusable Coffee Cups

• Art or design items

Please donate prizes at the school office. Mrs Watt will coordinate these. Final day for donation will be Wednesday 25th October.

3. FINALLY, in the week of the Night Market we ask that on the day (or could be the day prior) every student brings baking, a cake, biscuits, slices, brownie, muffins, loaves or homemade item to sell.

There will also be Homebaking, Gourmet Foods, Fudge and Sweets, Preserves, and Plant stalls and all items are welcomed.

4. There are also 60 PICNIC BLANKET stalls available to be set up on the courts. These stalls are $30 (payable to the office) and any profit can be either kept by the stall holder or donated to the school as you wish. Please bring your own blanket, table, chair and cash float.
