Last Monday evening Otago Girls' was privileged to host the opening of the Anne Frank Exhibition "Let me be myself".
We were honoured to have Boyd Klap, the Chairman of Anne Frank New Zealand join us, along with Race Relations Commissioner Meng Liu Foon, and City Councillor Chris Garey who opened the event along with our other very supportive guests. We were entertained by our wonderful students in the choir and the kapa haka group Wairua Puhou. Thanks to Rose Stevenson for her moving violin performance; Meg Cunningham-Tisdall for her impressive monologue from Anne Frank's diary and to Annelies MacDuff for her reading in te reo from Anne's diary. Many thanks to our sponsors who made our hosting of this event possible: Mercy Health Care (Major sponsor), Crombie Lockwood, Harraways, ABL, H & J Smith, Kelk Photography, Miss Reid Florist, Handy Rentals and Baker Garden Architects.Visit this article
