Asbestos Removal
Stefan Box - Project Manager — February 1, 2024
Southern Insulation has been contracted to undertake asbestos removal from the roof of the caretaker's residence opposite the main school site on Tennyson Street. They will be starting this work the week of 26 February 2024, and we understand this will take approximately four days to complete (subject to weather). Southern Insulation are an A & B Class licensed Asbestos Removal Company as required by Worksafe.
All removal work will be completed as per the following Acts and Regulations
- Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
- Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016
- Approved Code of Practice for the Management and Removal of Asbestos
Signage and fencing will be in place to identify the area where the work is being undertaken, so please take note and adhere to any instructions.
