Introducing our new International Student Director

Kia ora, my name is Berina (Rose) Gilani. I have an honours degree in Business - Marketing and a postgraduate certificate in Business & Economics. I am a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award (Canada). My background is in international marketing, student recruitment, and placements from the university sector. I have lived, worked, studied, and conducted research in several regions around the world. I love immersing myself in different cultures, learning new languages, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. The highlight of each day at OGHS is meeting my students and seeing them grow as individuals. I am very excited to be part of a really solid team and to be working alongside Mrs. Bridget Davidson, Mrs. Katherine Boomer, our host families, our agents, and so many lovely people in the school who support and encourage the growth of our international students. When I have free time, I like to connect with nature and enjoy simple moments with my family.
