Phone Free School

We are having wonderful compliance overall with our policy of the school being phone-free. However if students do have phones out at school, we will request that the phone stays at home all of the time, rather than off and away in their bag when they require it. This can also lead to Check and Reflect where phones will need to be handed in and collected from the office each day, similar to a daily report. If students respect the phone guidelines, this will not be required. There is a small range of very specific phone-sanctioned educational uses for phones and students will be advised of these in advance and trusted to use the phones as directed.Many thanks for your support of the new guidelines.
