Introducing our Pasifika Prefect

Hey Everyone! My name is Adison Nukanuka, and I have the absolute privilege of being the Pasifika Prefect for 2024. I am truly honoured to be in this role representing our Pasifika students. I am a proud Niuean who strives to learn more about my culture day in and day out. This year, I intend on connecting and engaging with our Pasifika students as much as I can in order to build stronger connections with one another, along with hopes of getting the students closer to their cultures as well. My biggest goal for the year, is to get our young Pasifika voices out there to be heard and seen within the school in order to become a bigger part of the school community. I plan on getting our students involved with as many opportunities as we can get our hands on so we can see them strive and reach their full potential. These can range from workshops, mentorship, scholarships, etc. I will be working closely alongside our Pasifika Dean, Mrs. Vicki Millar, with a lot of planning, we have a lot in store for our Pasifika students throughout the year, so keep an eye out!
