Priority for Community Dental Service appointments during the school break will be for immediate dental needs at the following clinics:

Hornby Community Dental Clinic, 2 Hei Hei Road, Christchurch

Timaru Community Dental Clinic, 18 Woollcombe Street, Timaru

Singing Lessons with Casselle Bonollo BMus with First Class Honours (Vocal Performance) Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. I'm a professional performer and experienced voice and piano teacher of all ages from Melbourne, Australia, now living and teaching in Ohoka. Individual lessons are tailored to the student's age, creative needs and musical style, whether you wish to undergo serious training, prepare for an audition, develop your artistry as a singer/song writer/performer, acquire greater vocal health and vocal stamina, develop your musicality, build self confidence, improve your speaking voice or gain a basic understanding of vocal control and breath management to experience the simple joy singing. I also have experience teaching piano so can also combine voice and basic keyboard skills to help you or your child get the absolute most out of your/their musical journey.

Now taking bookings for Ohoka School students, Thursday afternoons from 1pm in the music room. Adult lessons also available on select days during school hours from my home studio at 503 Mill Rd, Ohoka.

David Webster - Piano/Keyboard Teacher

Piano lessons at Ohoka School are up and running with experienced piano teacher David Webster.

His teaching style involves a structured program covering practical and theory, and developing correct technique, enabling the student to enjoy a lifetime of music. He will also adapt to fit the style of music that students want to play.

Piano tuition provides a great foundation in music education and can provide a stepping stone to other instruments or a lifelong passion playing piano. There are numerous studies highlighting the positive impact music education has upon a young persons overall development.
