Zone athletics and Rakahuri Bike Blast.

Last Tuesday the 5th of November, 27 students travelled to Ashgrove Park to compete against other schools in the athletic zones. A big well done to all the students for giving 100% and representing Ōhoka School. 

Thank you to all the parents who helped out on the day and supported Ōhoka School. A big thanks to Niki Mealings who did trainings with our relays teams leading up the zones event. All relay teams were very sharp on the change overs on the day. 

Results to come with some students progressing to Canterbury athletics in December (this will be advised when results are through). We wish them all the very best. 

Rakahuri Bike Blast is on the 25th November and Ōhoka School have 10 teams (Y5-8) entered in this event. This is a 3 hour mountain bike event where students are in teams of 2. We wish them all the very best!
