Congratulations to all our runners who competed at the North Canterbury Zones Cross Country recently. In particular to Issy, Honor, Lilia, Matilda, Oscar and Cooper Su who have qualified to run at the Canterbury Competition on the 21st June at Nga Puna Wai.

North Canterbury Primary Schools Sports One Day Winter Tournament

This is to be held in Rangiora on 8th August this year (pp date 10th August).  Sports offered will be Football, Hockey, Netball and Rugby.  We do rely on parent help for this tournament (coaching, managing, umpiring and transport) as we have multiple students competing across all disciplines and at 4 different venues!  So if you think you will be able to help, please keep the date free.

One Day Winter Tournament Sign Up Form

Volleyball (Year 7/8) - TERM 3

Volleyball will be on offer again for year 7-8 students in term 3.  This is run by North Canterbury Primary School Sports Trust and players are put into teams along with students from other schools.

Dates are Monday 24th July - Monday 18th September (9 weeks) and the cost is $63 per player.  Start times are 3.30pm and 4.15pm and your session time will be notified by email each week.

Each session will include a skills component, followed by games.  The skills session will cover key skills that players can use in a game.  Sessions will be delivered by Primary School Sports Coaches.

Congratulations to Isabella Watkins for her efforts over the weekend for achieving first overall in beam, bar and vault in the Ribbon Day Event in Christchurch.  We wish Izzy all the best for Canterbury Primary Schools Artistic Gymnastics tomorrow.
