Ōhoka School Uniform
Ōhoka School - Uniform
Below is our uniform. We have kept this uniform very similar to before, but have refreshed our polo (junior and senior version) as well as adding a few optional items (merinos and softshell jacket).
Junior Uniform
This uniform is for our Year 1-6 students. You Will notice our fresh new polo with the white piping. The cotton/poly ratio at 50/50and is better than the current polo which is 40/60 cotton/poly.
Senior Uniform
This uniform is for our Year 7&8 students. You will notice that the polo is differentiated with a larger white stripe. We have also added a navy culotte in this area of the school - as many of our senior girls commented on having something that they will feel more comfortable in, with growing/changing bodies. Please note that the navy culotte is also available for Years 5&6 students as an option.
The softshell jacket is a new addition to our uniform range and is an optional item only.
Schoolwide Optional Items below (any student can wear)
At Ōhoka School our uniform is worn proudly and with respect, one of our school values. Our approved uniform provides choice and options, while helping provide consistency across our school. The full correct uniform is to be worn by all students.
Additional to the uniform above, we will continue to adopt these items as our school uniform;
- Navy hat for Terms 1 and 4
- Navy poly prop to go under our polos (no other colours)
- Navy, white or black socks (no other colours)
Footwear - As children participate in daily physical activity, comfortable and appropriate footwear is required. Jandals, crocs or slip-on shoes are not permitted due to safety reasons.
Hair - For safety and health reasons long hair and hair falling over the face must be tied up or clipped back. Hair accessories should be in keeping with our uniform colours.
Jewellery and adornments - Stud earrings, watches and items of cultural importances are acceptable.
