The North Canterbury Primary Schools Debating competition.
Our Ohoka 2 debating team have successfully made it through to the semi-finals of the North Canterbury Primary Schools Debating competition. This is a real achievement in a very tough competition that started out with 48 teams. Congratulations Tom, Gracie and Jasmine! Gracie has done particularly well, being selected as best speaker in every debate so far. Well done Gracie!
The semi-finals will take place on the 20th June at a venue to be advised shortly. The moot is, “New Zealand is a unique place to live” and we have the positive side of the moot - thank goodness!
