Senior ICARE Programme.

Year 7 and 8 students started their ‘I CARE’ programme which caters for student interests, talents and abilities focusing on the key competencies and the NZ Curriculum.

The New Zealand Curriculum identifies five Key Competencies: Thinking; Relating to others; Using language, symbols and texts; Managing self; Participating and contributing.

Over the last two Fridays students competed in a bridge building and hungry hippo challenge. Both challenges brought out the best planning, designing, creating, presenting and teamwork skills out of the students.
