Tuesday afternoons in the Kotahi Whanau room.

Kapa Haka is led in our school by Whaea Josie on Tuesday afternoons in the Kotahi Whanau room. It starts at 2pm with the Y4-8 students, and at 2:40 the Y1-3 students have their turn. This term the emphasis is on poi. Kapa Haka costs $15 for the year. It is not compulsory. Last week many children had a “free trial” to see if they wanted to be involved. Students not at Kapa Haka are usually having a Te Reo Maori lesson in class. To avoid confusion, please have a conversation with your child about whether they are participating in Kapa Haka this year.
