There is a definite feeling of 'being' watched' in Room 5 this week. Our amazing cardboard relief faces are staring down at us as we work and play. They have been inspired by the American artist Kimmy Cantrell, who uses clay to create his faces. We thought about how he uses different shapes, colours and layers to convey emotions in his artworks. These faces have taken lots of time to plan, sketch, cut, paste and finally paint. We think they look awesome.
