Winter Sports season is around the corner so it’s time to start thinking about which sports your child might be interested in.

The sporting codes our school will be entering teams in are: HOCKEY, NETBALL & BASKETBALL.Other sports are available through local clubs- Omokoroa Football Club,Te Puna Rugby Club.

Registrations for school teams close next FRIDAY 29 MARCH. Teams need to be collated and confirmed with some urgency. REGISTER HERE (one form per child per sport).

All outstanding sports fees will need to be paid before your child can be added to a school team. This is a friendly reminder to check your school accounts to ensure sports payments are up to date.

If your child (or their older sibling) is interested in umpiring hockey or netball REGISTER HERE.

HOCKEY

Year 3-8 students will need to provide their own hockey stick and protective gear.

Fun Sticks (Year 1&2)

Where: Omokoroa No.1 School

When: Wednesdays 3:15 - 4:15 pm (13th May - 31st August) 12 weeks

Mini Sticks Sticks (Year 3&4):

Where: Omokoroa No.1 School

When: Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30 pm (13th May - 31st August) 12 weeks

Cost: $60

Kiwi Sticks (Year 5&6)

Where: Tauranga Hockey Centre

When: Saturday 4th May - 31st August (10.10am - 1.30pm)

Cost: $85

Kwik Sticks (Year 7&8)

Where: Tauranga Hockey Centre

When: Friday 10th May - 30th August (4.30pm - 8.30pm)

Cost: $180 Note: increase in turf fees charged by Tauranga Hockey

When: Saturday @ 12.30pm (May 25th - 31st Aug)

Year 3&4
