Visitor to our school....

On Monday the Jiddles were lucky to have a visit from NZ author Sarah Wardell, author of The Lighthouse Princess. 

Sarah talked to the children about creating a setting, finding inspiration from special places in their life. She discussed the recipe for a story using the 5 w's of 'who, what, when, where and why'. 

Our children asked her relevant questions about what it is like to be a writer.
