With our usual Rippa rugby cancelled this term, we wanted to make sure the kids still got a chance to play our school’s most popular summer sport.

On Thursday last week our year 6-8 students who had signed up to play Rippa, got out for a little mini tournament. The teams were mixed ages, and there was some great competition. By the end of 3 games straight on a hot afternoon, I think they had had their fill of Rippa rugby for a while!

Thank you to our newly trained referees, Sam Ryan, Henry Brough, Niva Mau’koloa, Rawiri Jenner and Lariah Mellor for putting their learning into action.

The year 3-6 children who signed up for Rippa rugby will get their turn in another run around, this coming Tuesday during school hours.
