Omokoroa No.1 School —

Fun Learning Experiences.

Our junior classes recently loved experiencing ‘ice skating’. This was a first-time experience for everyone. It was amazing to see our learners quickly grasp how to balance and move on the plastic ice. They showed determination and within forty minutes they had exhausted themselves.

The Year 6 Market Day was a highlight of the term for the children. The young children thoroughly enjoyed working through their shopping lists and buying lots of goodies from the well-stocked stalls.

This last week the junior classes had a Rippa Rugby skills session, led by some coaches from Sport Bay of Plenty. This was another neat, action-packed experience for the children.

Today and tomorrow, the classes are visiting the Art Gallery and experiencing a City Library experience.

We all appreciate having these wonderful opportunities to learn.

Kind regards John, Sue, Jane, Sharon, Becks, Cushla, Jenna and Andrea.
