Students in the Middles syndicate enjoyed a visit from the Bay Conservation education team, with this term's focus being on Estuaries. Through this unit students will have the opportunity to learn about our local estuaries with a trip to explore the water and surrounding land at Huharua Park later this term.

Students have been enjoying the school pool with endurance and stroke technique being a major focus in preparation for surfing at camp and also swimming sports and triathlon later this term. It has been great to see some of our more capable swimmers helping others to improve technique and build water confidence.

We are excited to have Cath Kneesch working in our syndicate on Fridays this term. We enjoyed learning some new songs at syndicate singing which was led by Mrs Kneesch.
