Bird is the word with Wild About NZ this term.

The group first learned about the differences between Native birds of New Zealand and those that are introduced. They then honed their birding skills by playing some fun games and doing a five minute bird count at school. Last week they took a walk around the end of Plummers Point road with Paul cumming from Birds BoP. They spotted 19 different species of birds and almost 150 birds in total!
