Parent-Teacher Interviews

Omokoroa No.1 School —

Parent/Teacher Interviews are scheduled to take place at the end of Term 2, Week 9.

The purpose of these interviews is to provide you with an opportunity to discuss your child's learning progress with their teacher.

If there are any significant student learning needs that need to be discussed before the Mid-Year Interviews teachers will arrange to meet with parents early in Term 2.

At the heart of these interviews is a desire to build a strong partnership between parents and teachers. By working together, we can ensure that your child receives the best possible education and support throughout their time at school. During the interviews, you will have the opportunity to talk with your child's teacher about their academic progress, as well as their social and emotional development.

In particular, the interviews are designed to:

· Provide you with an overview of your child's progress so far this year

· Identify any areas where your child may be struggling and discuss strategies for improvement

· Share information about your child's strengths and interests

· Discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child's education

We believe that regular communication between parents and teachers is essential for creating a positive and supportive learning environment for your child. By attending the Parent/Teacher Interviews, you will have an opportunity to share your insights, ask questions, and collaborate with the teacher in support of your child's education.

Booking times for the interviews will be:

  • Tuesday 20 June 1pm-5pm
  • Thursday 22 June 3pm-7pm

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming Parent/Teacher Interviews.
