This is an event that has been running across Tauranga for 18 years. Up to 24 schools can enter. The concept is based on the old NZ Top Town TV series. Teams complete 8 teamwork activities throughout the day. All teams trying to win the Top Schools Trophy. Activities take place over 2 days.

Teams are made up of 10 pupils enrolled at the team’s school – 5 boys and 5 girls.

Omokoroa No.1 School has two Year 5/6 teams and 2 Year 7/8 teams competing.

All activities run for 10 minutes, started and ended by a hooter. All events run simultaneously. Three teams will compete at each event at one time.

The event runs from 10am-1.30pm. All parents are welcome to watch.

Visiting school parents will be parking on the bottom field on both days.
